    I used Just Eat to order a family meal so I ordered large Cod and large portions of chips and large jumbo battered sausages. The cost was an astounding £ inc service and delivery. So for that price you would expect top quality at around £ per meal. When the meal arrived we were expecting hot and good quality fish and chips which they advertise But We were horrified to find very small portions of chips which were charged at £.per which looked like they had been sat there for hours. Totally dry and cold. Then came the biggest shock of all the so called large Cod. The pieces of cod looked like they had sliced the fish down the middle and given sliver of fish and given halves Instead of full pieces of fish and charged a whopping £ per fish. Also the fish was cold and not edible. As you can see by the photos attached. These portions were even smaller than the pensioners fish and chips. On top of all this where the fish and chips were cold and not edible all the food went in the bin and we all just had sandwiches and were bitterly disappointed all my guests said I should write an email to Just Eat and ask for a refund so I did straight away. I am waiting for a reply from them. I feel this place is so highly overpriced. Was this just a bad day and I was unlucky? After reading quite a lot of reviews a lot of people are experiencing the same things. If this is happening regularly then they need to look at their prices and portion sizes before they lose a lot of their customers. I have also compared their prices to other local fish and chips shops and the average is Around £. with chips. Theirs Is £. the prices speak for themselves. However If they could deliver good quality and larger portions then people like me would not complain about the price. The reason I gave them an actual star is for the cleanliness of the property but that's It.I just wanted to sayfollowing this review I was contacted by customer service from deep blue which was exceptional. They apologised for the bad food and service and gave me a full refund of the food.They contacted me by emails after my review and were totally outstanding.So If you have any issues with your food be sure to know that they will treat you with respect andrefund you without any problem after Investigation after they have a copy of your receipt.     I was reluctant to come here because of the reviews however since my experience was good I thought I would leave my review. The service was great, it was fast and the staff was nice, the food was good, hot and plenty. And I also saw them prepare a delivery order that was made, packed and straight away delivered which is not something that you can say about many places. A bit on the pricier side but overall a great fish and chips shop.

    First time ordering from here. It was a collection order. Order was ready in about minutes. Ordered large cod and large haddock. Both Fish was great but haddock was the better fish it was still piping hot . We didn’t order chips as we don’t like chip shop chips. Ordering was smooth through a ordering app. The woman at the counter could’ve been a bit more friendly I suppose but not that it really matters. Anyways We are impressed with deep blue and will be ordering our fish from here

    I came into deep blue late this evening and was met with a busy shop, so i was prepared to wait for a while. The young brunette girl with glasses took my order, she was a lovely,respectful girl and made my experience in deep blue enjoyable. what wasn’t so lovely is after my order was taken an elderly lady came in to order. she wanted two small cod’s, but as the young girl kindly said to her “i’m so sorry we are out of cod right now” this elderly woman went on to say how it’s quote “ridiculous that a fish and chip shop is out of cod” given that deep blue was minutes from stopping the cookers. This not only made me feel uncomfortable, but made staff and other customers visibly uncomfortable as well. i found it very disrespectful that this lady thought it would be acceptable to talk to a staff member how she did. other than this issue i have a wonderful experience and the food was /!
